The CallJoy agent can now do more for your customers and your business than ever before. This includes recognizing and answering caller questions by sending a text message to reserve a table online, place a food order, book appointments and request quote.
In the Call Actions page of your CallJoy account, you can program your agent to recognize and answer questions that are specific to your business. The agent prompts the caller by asking , “In a few words, how can I help you?” Based on the caller’s response and the intent of the call, the agent can either:
- Answer the question with spoken information (e.g., “Yes! We do allow pups on our patio.”)
- Offer to send a text message (e.g., “Would you like me to text you a link to easily book your appointment online?”)
- Route the call (e.g user “talk to sales” agent “connecting you now”)
Please note that text messages are pre-programmed and outbound only. Two-way SMS is not currently available with CallJoy.
To program your agent to respond to a caller’s question with a text message, simply select this option and provide the link the agent will send to the caller (please note this feature works with only mobile phone numbers). To learn how to do that, see How do I customize my agent?.
